The military sports club "Ded" appeared in Voronezh two years ago. Its founder and head, Vladimir Strutinsky, a teacher at the Center for Social Adaptation of Young People, based his work on the scientific system for ensuring life safety of Alexey Kadochnikov. It accumulates the experience of domestic martial arts and survival in extreme situations. The main goal of the public association is to educate real men-warriors, strong in spirit and body, ready to defend the Motherland. However, girls are also accepted to the club.

About a hundred people are engaged here, mostly schoolchildren and students. Classes are held at the Military Institute of Radio Electronics and in three schools. Training sessions in hand-to-hand combat, survival in extreme situations, fencing, etc.are combined with lectures on Russian history, medicine, and other sciences. The club uses old models to make Russian battle armor. Demonstration performances are held in the city and marches along extreme routes with laying wreaths at the mass graves of soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War. Among the instructors are Captain of the Airborne Reserve Vladimir Golubnichny, Lieutenant Colonel of the Air Force Sergey Nesterov, former intelligence officer Alexey Saniev, who was awarded the Zhukov Medal.

The club is expanding. More and more young people join the traditions of the Russian army, are brought up in the spirit of patriotism. His ties with military-historical clubs in Tula and Staro - Oskol, with the Moscow association of stuntmen "Master"are growing stronger.

Future defenders of the Fatherland learned a lot of new and interesting things about the army service during the Conscript Day held in one of the military units of the Moscow region. This was largely due to the cordiality and hospitality of the hosts: unit commander S. P. Serkin, Chief of Staff S. N. Babichev. The guests visited barracks, a sports hall, classrooms, a medical center, a canteen, and other rooms that were very clean, tidy and cozy. The tour ended with a visit to the marching soldiers ' kitchen, where all participants of the action were generously treated to army food.

"I do not feel negative emotions before the upcoming service", "I believe that every citizen should pass the army service with dignity", "I am going to serve with a desire" - this is what the guys said after visiting the military unit. These words are the best confirmation of the need for such events.

"Machine gun and guitar, you are always at war..."

In 2000, Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk published a collection of poems and songs from the "hot spots" "Machine gun and guitar", the circulation of which was sold in great demand. The uniqueness of the publication is that all these poems and songs, both amateur and professional poets, were collected for 15 years by one of the authors and compiler of the collection, a military pilot of the 1st class, Lieutenant Colonel Vladimir Tsybaev.
