The Orientir editorial board cordially congratulates the creative team of the Military Historical Journal on its anniversary and wishes its colleagues new creative successes, further growth of the authority of such a popular and beloved publication, and multiplication of its rich traditions.

Dmitry Vasiliev has long been a recognized name in computer literature and periodicals. According to his books, many novice PC users learned the ABC of communicating with a personal computer step by step.

But... no matter how offensive it is for fans of" that "creativity of Vasiliev, the" computer writer " in his person, apparently, will no longer be. Now he writes about something else.

What are Dmitry Vasiliev's new books about? Take his most famous novel, Affectionate Evil... Someone finds in it a new historical philosophy, someone-a religion. I have heard that the text softly sounds a prophecy about a planetary catastrophe - a kind of warning to people living on Earth. It is quite possible that this book is about Love... However, despite the diversity of opinions, it is by no means eclectic. After reading it, the author's super-task on the topic "To continue the Work of Mikhail Afanasyevich Bulgakov and bring the Good News to people" clearly emerges. And missionary work is either messianism-it depends on the angle of perception...

By the way, although parallels with" The Master and Margarita "can be traced in the idea, theme, plot and composition, nevertheless this is not a remake, but a valuable work in itself, which adapts the reader to the perception of other novels by Dmitry Vasiliev, because" Gentle Evil " is the first book of the trilogy.

The military reader (not a fan of detective stories) is probably closest to the novel "Invasion of the Copy", which, so to speak, occupies a separate shelf in the author's entire work, since here the philosophical problems of War and Peace are also studied from the point of view of the warrior. Apparently, if a person once studied in the military education system, then this remains with him for life, regardless of the number and quality of other diplomas. By the way, Vasiliev received his first fundamental knowledge at the Faculty of Journalism of Lviv VVPU.

If someone is confused by the terms "researched" and "philosophical", then this is in vain. Dmitry Vasiliev respects his readers. If it teaches, it is unobtrusive, clever, but not clever. And not at all sad, but a good Russian syllable.

You can write a lot about Vasiliev's work, mastering more and more new literary heights. But the good news is that until this is done, everyone can just read his books. Be sure to open something of your own. In yourself. And let it be Good. Not even very affectionate.
