Рассвет у Брестской крепости

Два "поезда памяти" отправились из Москвы в Минск и Брест к местам воинской славы в рамках патриотической акции "Вахта памяти. Вечный огонь - 2012".

Традиционное мероприятие приурочено к Дню памяти и скорби, который отмечается в России в годовщину вторжения фашистской армии на территорию СССР.

Пассажирами поездов стали ветераны Великой Отечественной войны - участники боевых действий и партизанского движения, действовавшего на территории Белоруссии, а также несколько сотен детей - представителей общественных объединений России. Вместе с ветеранами они встретят рассвет у стен Брестской крепости и опустят венки в воды рек Западный Буг и Мухавец в знак памяти о героических защитниках цитадели. Они также возложат цветы на площади Победы в Минске, посетят музей Великой Отечественной войны и мемориальные комплексы "Курган Славы" и " Хатынь".
