Train No. 25 (26) "Sevastopol" remains one of the few connecting threads between Moscow and the" city of Russian naval glory " in fraternal Ukraine. A significant part of its passengers, by the way, are military personnel of the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation, Navy veterans and members of their families. Everyone who has ever been a passenger of the "Sevastopol", probably retained pleasant memories of the trip, because this train has always been distinguished by comfort, comfort, high level of service and truly naval order. Such a train "Sevastopol-Moscow" remains to this day... every year, employees of the Sevastopol branch of the Crimean Technical Directorate for Passenger Service, headed by a true patriot of their business, Yuri Troshin, find it increasingly difficult to "keep the brand". After all, despite the steady rise in ticket prices, the rolling stock remains the same and becomes more dilapidated with each trip. Only thanks to the efforts and enthusiasm of the railway workers who serve such trains, they, despite the long service life, look like new externally.
By the way, the Sevastopol branch of the Crimean DOP currently employs about 600 people. Their jobs are a significant factor for residents of the Russian-speaking city, which, like the whole of Ukraine, is experiencing not the best economic times. Today, Sevastopol railway workers, who provide transport links between our compatriots abroad and Russia, need support more than ever. And not only moral. Their hopes are tied to Moscow, which actively helps our Black Sea Fleet. If they are justified, then the connecting thread "Moscow-Sevastopol" will become stronger. After all, this train is not only a means of transportation. It is also a kind of symbol of the city, still called the "pride of Russian sailors".
