Recommendations "Use of sapropel from the organic deposit" Udkhovda "of the Pruzhany district of the Brest region in feeding cattle and pigs"

The demand of farm animals for macro- and microelements, vitamins and other biologically active substances with a stimulating effect can be largely satisfied through the use of sapropels. According to a number of researchers, sapropels have a positive effect on metabolic processes, productivity and health of animals. Their value lies in the fact that in their chemical composition they are close to many feeds, which are the main suppliers of nutrients in the diets of farm animals; they can partially compensate for the deficiency of grain and other feed means for animals. Therefore, research in this direction is of scientific and practical importance. In this regard, the purpose of our work was to determine the rate of introducing organic sapropel into the composition of compound feed for young cattle and dairy cows.
Currently, along with the lack of energy, protein, sugar and other nutrients in the rations, there is an acute shortage of biologically active substances. It is not always possible to meet the needs of animals for these elements due to feed of plant and animal origin. Therefore, the search and involvement of additional sources of mineral and vitamin raw materials in the practice of feeding farm animals is of great scientific and practical interest.
